Loren Castillo spent years working in marketing and tech, building products and growing businesses. But his real motivation was simpler: he wanted to build something meaningful enough that his family would not have to depend on a 9-to-5. He was a father first. Everything else was secondary.
The turning point came on an ordinary cross-country flight that turned into a five-hour delay. What followed was weeks of dead-end emails, a voucher offer nobody asked for, and an airline counting on him to eventually walk away.
They bet incorrectly that he would eventually give up.
He started researching instead. What he found was staggering.
